The pure fact that you're talking about "waste disposal" instead of "recycling" shows how little you understand about the reasons of climate change. It's because people are using plastics that can only be used once and then need to be disposed of has a massive impact on our environment. We are littering the place where we all need to live with garbage while there are enough methods to reduce the waste and the wasting of resources. That is the reason why climate change happens and we all have a responsibility in minimising the garbage we dispose of. There are dozens of recyclable alternatives for plastic bags and straws. And we need to call out and name and shame the industry that uses tons of plastic for unneccesary packaging. Who ever came up with the stupid idea to wrap apples, oranges and bananas in plastic?
